Welcome to the e-learning platform of the BEST FRIENDS project. It is one of the project’s results, presenting the learning material developed throughout the project. You will find gathered here all the resources to help old and young play, learn, and grow together!
More specifically, in addition to reports on old age in Europe, you can access here a collection of intergenerational life-long learning training policies and tools, developed within the project with a number of partners across Europe. We have also gathered many fun game ideas, suitable for use in an intergenerational context, with both older people and children participating. These materials, outcomes and products were tested for wider European relevance, and are suited for distance learning.
All materials are available in six languages (English, French, German, Greek, Italian, and Latvian), and are free to use and adapt to your needs and local context.
This platform is addressed to 3 main target groups:
Elderly people (65+)
Careworkers, social workers, and volunteers working with elderly people
Early childhood educators and young children (4-5 years old)
